Two Irradiance Numbers, Both Printed
Mito publishes irradiance measured two ways, and they differ by more than double. A consumer solar meter reads high on an LED array because it is calibrated for broad-spectrum sunlight, not for two narrow bands. A laboratory spectroradiometer is the figure to compare across brands. Both are listed in the specifications below — the lower number is not a weakness, it is the one measured properly.

HOW A SESSION RUNS
A session, start to finish.

Position
Six inches from the panel — the distance the published irradiance is measured at. A freestanding stand is available separately.
Front, then back
Roughly ten minutes a side on the digital timer. Higher irradiance means the same dose arrives sooner.
Choose the band
