Mito MitoMAX 2.0 — Full-Body Red Light Panel Sale price$926.91
Overview

Full-body panel at 36 inches. 200 LEDs at 660nm and 850nm, 300W, hangs on a door or mounts to a wall.

Tall enough to cover the whole torso, the legs or the back from one position. Two sessions — front then back — run about twenty minutes in total. It hangs on a door or mounts to a wall, so it needs no floor space.

Two Irradiance Numbers, Both Printed

Mito publishes irradiance measured two ways, and they differ by more than double. A consumer solar meter reads high on an LED array because it is calibrated for broad-spectrum sunlight, not for two narrow bands. A laboratory spectroradiometer is the figure to compare across brands. Both are listed in the specifications below — the lower number is not a weakness, it is the one measured properly.

FAQ

How is this different from the MitoMEGA?

The MEGA is three inches wider with 300 LEDs against 200, and draws 450W against 300. That buys wider coverage and more energy at the skin, which shortens a session. The MAX is the narrower, lighter, door-hanging option.

Why are two irradiance numbers listed?

A consumer solar meter is calibrated for broad-spectrum sunlight and reads high on two narrow LED bands. A laboratory spectroradiometer is the figure to compare across brands. Both are printed here; the lower one is the properly measured one.

How far away should I stand?

Six inches is the reference distance for the published irradiance. Standing further back reduces the energy reaching the skin and lengthens the session needed for the same dose.

How long is a full-body session?

About twenty minutes in total — roughly ten minutes facing the panel and ten with your back to it.

Does it need special wiring?

No. It draws 300W and is compatible with worldwide voltages on a standard outlet.

Is it safe to use every day?

Red and near-infrared light is non-ionising and does not tan or burn, but do not stare directly into the LEDs. Consult a physician before use if you take photosensitising medication, have a history of skin cancer, or are managing a thyroid condition. Eye protection is supplied with some panels and is sensible at close range.
