The same far-infrared blanket, bundled with the parts people end up buying separately in the first month. The insert and the cleaner are the difference between a blanket you use weekly and one that becomes a chore.

What the five layers actually are

HigherDOSE builds the blanket in five layers: the far-infrared heating element, a charcoal layer intended to mitigate EMF and ELF, a clay layer, a magnetic strip, and a layer containing amethyst and obsidian.

To be straight about it: the far-infrared element is the part doing the work. The clay, magnetic and crystal layers are present in the construction, and we list them because they are in the product — but we are not going to tell you they do something we cannot point to evidence for. Heat is the mechanism.

What the kit adds

Beyond the blanket and its controller: the carrying bag, a 100% organic cotton insert that takes the sweat so the interior does not, a heat-activated endorphin oil, and the High Maintenance cleaner formulated for the blanket's polyurethane interior. Ordinary household cleaners are the usual way these get damaged.

HOW A SESSION RUNS

A session, start to finish.

Nothing to plumb, nothing to drain, nothing to schedule around.

  1. Preheat

    Ten to fifteen minutes. Lay the organic cotton insert in first — it is what keeps the interior clean.

  2. Session

    Thirty to forty minutes at a level that suits you. Start lower and shorter than you expect to need.

  3. Cool, clean, store

    Let it cool completely, wipe it with the supplied cleaner rather than a household one, and roll it into the bag.

Use the right cleaner

The interior is polyurethane. Household cleaners are the usual way these get ruined, which is why a formulated one is in the box rather than sold to you after the damage.

What does the kit include that the blanket alone does not?

The carrying bag, a 100% organic cotton insert, a heat-activated endorphin oil, and the High Maintenance cleaner formulated for the blanket's polyurethane interior.

Is it the same blanket?

Yes — identical specification: far infrared, nine heat levels to 175°F, a one-hour timer, and 350 to 420 watts on a standard outlet.

Why does the cleaner matter?

The interior is polyurethane. Household cleaners are the most common way these blankets get damaged, and the damage is not covered. A formulated cleaner in the box is cheaper than a replacement.

Do the crystal and magnetic layers do anything?

They are genuinely part of the construction and we list them for that reason. We are not going to claim a therapeutic effect we cannot evidence — the far-infrared element is the part doing the work.

What electrical supply does it need?

A standard 100–120V household outlet, 350 to 420 watts at 4 to 5 amps. No dedicated circuit and no electrician.

Who should not use this?

Do not use if pregnant, intoxicated, or running a fever. Anyone with a cardiovascular condition, low or high blood pressure, or a condition affecting sweating or heat perception — including neuropathy and multiple sclerosis — should speak to a physician first.

Never sleep in the blanket, and never use it without clothing or the cotton insert between you and the interior. Start at a lower heat level and a shorter session than you think you need.
