HigherDOSE Infrared Sauna Blanket — Far Infrared, 9 Heat Levels to 175°F Sale price$865.05
Overview

A far-infrared sauna blanket that reaches 175°F across nine heat levels. Plugs into a normal outlet, folds away, and needs no room of its own.

The lowest-commitment way into heat work. There is no cabin to site, no circuit to run and nothing to assemble — it preheats in ten to fifteen minutes and rolls up afterwards. A GOTS-certified organic cotton insert sits between you and the interior, which is what makes cleaning it realistic.

What the five layers actually are

HigherDOSE builds the blanket in five layers: the far-infrared heating element, a charcoal layer intended to mitigate EMF and ELF, a clay layer, a magnetic strip, and a layer containing amethyst and obsidian.

To be straight about it: the far-infrared element is the part doing the work. The clay, magnetic and crystal layers are present in the construction, and we list them because they are in the product — but we are not going to tell you they do something we cannot point to evidence for. Heat is the mechanism.

Nine levels, and a one-hour timer

Heat runs on a 1 to 9 display up to 175°F, with a one-hour timer on the handheld controller. Preheat is ten to fifteen minutes and HigherDOSE suggests thirty to forty minutes per session. It draws 350 to 420 watts on a normal 100–120V outlet — about the same as a games console, and far less than a cabin.

Infrared Sauna Blanket

Heat without giving up a room

A cabin needs a footprint, a circuit and a decision you cannot undo. This needs a floor, an outlet and fifteen minutes — and it rolls up and goes in a cupboard afterwards.

  • Rolls up

HOW A SESSION RUNS

A session, start to finish.

Nothing to plumb, nothing to drain, nothing to schedule around.

  1. Preheat

Ten to fifteen minutes on the level you want. Lay the cotton insert in before you get in — it is what keeps the interior clean.

  2. Session

Thirty to forty minutes is HigherDOSE's suggested range. Start shorter and lower than you think; 175°F against the skin is not the same as 175°F in the air.

  3. Cool and wipe

Let it cool fully before wiping it down. Do not roll it away warm.

About the draw of a games console

350 to 420 watts on a standard outlet. No electrician, no dedicated circuit, no assembly, and a running cost small enough to be beside the point.

FAQ

How hot does it get, and how fast?

Up to 175°F across nine heat levels, with a preheat of ten to fifteen minutes. The controller has a one-hour timer.

Do the crystal and magnetic layers do anything?

The blanket genuinely contains them — a magnetic strip and a layer with amethyst and obsidian are part of HigherDOSE's five-layer construction, and we list them because they are in the product.

We are not going to claim they have a therapeutic effect. There is no evidence we can point to. The far-infrared heating element is the part doing the work.

What electrical supply does it need?

A standard 100–120V household outlet. It draws 350 to 420 watts at 4 to 5 amps — no dedicated circuit and no electrician.

How do I keep it clean?

Use the GOTS-certified organic cotton insert between you and the interior every session — that is what it is for. Let the blanket cool completely, then wipe it down. Never put it away warm.

How is this different from a sauna cabin?

A cabin heats the air around you and needs a footprint, often a dedicated circuit, and a permanent decision. A blanket applies far infrared directly against the body, plugs into any outlet and folds away. The cabin is a better experience; the blanket is the one you will actually use in an apartment.

Who should not use this?

Do not use if pregnant, intoxicated, or running a fever. Anyone with a cardiovascular condition, low or high blood pressure, or a condition affecting sweating or heat perception — including neuropathy and multiple sclerosis — should speak to a physician first.

Never sleep in the blanket, and never use it without clothing or the cotton insert between you and the interior. Start at a lower heat level and a shorter session than you think you need.
