A brightness number with no distance attached tells you very little. The 1500 Pro is specified at three. Closer runs higher intensity over a smaller area. Further back covers more of you at a lower intensity. You choose, with the number in front of you.

Ten to twenty minutes. No appointment.
No booking, no drive, no waiting room. It stands in the corner of a room you already use, and a session fits before the first call of the day.

3 to 12 inches away. Closer runs a higher intensity over a smaller area. Further back trades intensity for coverage.

Pick one of 12 preset modes, or set the pulse frequency (1 to 999 Hz) and the timer yourself.

10 to 20 minutes. The live display shows pulse rate, brightness and time remaining, so there is nothing to keep track of.
Floor stand sold separately. It is wheeled and lockable, so the panel moves between rooms without lifting it.

Overview
308 LEDs across 7 wavelengths, including 960nm and 1060nm, two deep near-infrared bands most panels in this category don't carry at all.
The 1500 Pro runs 630nm and 660nm red light, 810nm, 830nm and 850nm near-infrared, and two additional deep near-infrared bands at 960nm and 1060nm. Most full-body panels stop at 850nm; this one goes further into the spectrum on both ends.
Irradiance and Coverage
212 mW/cm² at 3 inches (7.6 cm), covering roughly 42.3" × 18.2" (107 × 46 cm). 187 mW/cm² at 6 inches (15.2 cm), covering roughly 45.5" × 21.4" (116 × 54 cm). 170 mW/cm² at 12 inches (30.5 cm), covering roughly 48.7" × 24.6" (124 × 62 cm). Closer sessions run a higher dose over a smaller area; further back trades some intensity for more coverage.
1500 Pro or Compact 900
The two Red Nova panels are close in physical size but not in capability. The 1500 Pro carries two extra wavelength bands, higher peak irradiance, and manual pulse control; the Compact 900 is the simpler, lighter device.

Shared: 2-year limited warranty, low-EMF design, and a dedicated wheeled floor stand available for each panel. The stands are model-specific and not interchangeable.
The practical difference is control. If you want to set a pulse frequency and run a specific protocol, that is the 1500 Pro. If you want to switch it on for ten minutes without configuring anything, the Compact 900 does that for considerably less.
