Kineon RELIEF+ — Four-Hump Myofascial Release Tool
Kineon RELIEF+ — Four-Hump Myofascial Release Tool Sale price$99.00 Regular price$126.00
Overview

Two-part silicone pressure tool. A four-hump insert seats into a weighted base, and you use bodyweight rather than hand strength to apply pressure.

A foam roller spreads pressure across a wide surface. This does the opposite — the four raised humps concentrate load into specific points, and the base holds the insert steady on the floor so you can lower onto it and control the depth with your own weight instead of pushing by hand.

Why two silicone densities

The insert is moulded in 30A silicone and the base in Shore 60A. The lower durometer on the insert lets the humps give slightly under load rather than feeling like pressing against a rock; the firmer base resists deforming so the tool does not roll or flatten out underneath you. Both are waterproof, sweat-proof and abrasion-resistant, so it can be used on a mat, a gym floor or in a shower.

Where it fits

Glutes, lower back, hamstrings, calves, quads, shoulders, upper back, traps and feet. The four-hump geometry means it can straddle the spine rather than press directly on it when used on the back — the humps sit either side.

How to Use

Place the tool on the floor and lower the target area onto it, using bodyweight to set the pressure. Hold 30 seconds to 2 minutes per point.

If you have not used a pressure tool before, start at 5 to 10 seconds and build up. Kineon suggests 3 to 5 sessions a week with rest days in between rather than daily use. Ease off if the pressure is sharp rather than firm, and keep the humps off bone and directly off the spine.

Two silicone densities, one reason

The four-hump insert is moulded in 30A silicone and the base in Shore 60A. The softer insert lets the humps give under load rather than feeling like pressing against a rock; the firmer base resists deforming so the tool does not roll or flatten out underneath you.

SPECIFICATION

What you are buying.

  • Two silicone densities

  • Four humps, spine-straddling

The geometry sits either side of the spine rather than pressing on it.

  • 155 × 126 × 97.5 mm assembled

    Insert 134 × 80 × 55 mm, base 155 × 126 × 63 mm.

  • Under 830 g in total

Insert under 260 g, base under 570 g. Carrying bag included.

HOW A SESSION RUNS

A session, start to finish.

  1. Place

Set the tool on the floor with the humps either side of the target area. Keep them off bone and off the spine directly.

  2. Lower

Use bodyweight to set the pressure rather than pushing by hand. Hold 30 seconds to 2 minutes per point.

  3. Build up

If you have not used a pressure tool before, start at 5 to 10 seconds. Kineon suggests 3 to 5 sessions a week with rest days rather than daily use.

Bodyweight sets the pressure, not your hands

A foam roller spreads load across a wide surface. The four raised humps do the opposite and concentrate it into points, with the weighted base holding the insert steady on the floor so you set the depth by lowering onto it.

FAQ

How is this different from a foam roller?

A roller spreads pressure across a wide surface. The four humps concentrate it into points, and the weighted base keeps the insert still so you set the depth with bodyweight rather than by pushing.

Why two different silicone densities?

The 30A insert gives slightly under load so the humps do not feel like pressing against a rock. The Shore 60A base is firmer, so it resists deforming and the tool does not roll or flatten underneath you.

Can it be used on the back?

The four-hump geometry straddles the spine, so the humps sit either side rather than pressing directly on it. Keep it off bone and off the spine itself.

Can it get wet?

Both parts are waterproof, sweat-proof and abrasion-resistant, so it can be used on a mat, a gym floor or in a shower. Clean with warm water and mild soap, no harsh chemicals.
