This is a traditional electric sauna — not infrared. The 4.5kW Harvia KIP heater reaches temperatures up to 194°F and supports both dry and wet sessions. Pour water over the heated lava stones with the included bucket and scoop to increase humidity. Canadian hemlock construction, tempered glass door and panels, remote-controlled LED lighting, and a partially pre-assembled design.
Important: This sauna requires a dedicated 240V hardwired electrical connection. An electrician is required for installation. Plan your electrical setup before ordering.
The Harvia KIP Heater
The Harvia KIP is a Finnish-engineered electric sauna heater. The 4.5kW output is appropriate for this cabin size. Corrosion-resistant stainless steel construction with a protective stone guard. UL Certified for electrical safety compliance in North America. Wet and dry operation are both supported; included lava stones, wooden bucket with plastic liner, and wooden scoop allow wet session use from first setup.
Canadian Hemlock Wood
Canadian hemlock is non-allergenic, non-toxic, and produces minimal wood aroma at high temperatures. It resists shrinkage, cracking, and splitting under repeated heat and humidity cycles better than many other species used in sauna construction, and requires no sealant or treatment. Front panel thickness is 2.2 inches; back and side panels are 1.4 inches — the thicker front panel improves insulation at the door-facing wall.

The interior dimensions are engineered to minimize excess cubic footage — a sauna cabin that is too large for its heater takes significantly longer to reach temperature and consumes more energy maintaining it. The proportions of this cabin are matched to the 4.5kW output of the Harvia KIP heater for efficient heat-up times.
The tempered glass door and panels are built to withstand repeated thermal cycling without degradation. Two LED light strips — one on the backrest and one on the ceiling — are remote controlled for ambiance adjustment during sessions. The control panel timer is adjustable from 1 to 60 minutes.
This sauna is partially pre-assembled — panels arrive with built-in venting holes and securing latches. Full setup takes a few hours for two people. Assembly does not require specialized tools.
The heater unit is 240V hardwired and requires a dedicated circuit. An electrician is required for this step. Do not attempt to connect the heater without qualified electrical installation — this is a safety requirement, not a suggestion. Plan your electrical setup before the sauna arrives.
