How Red and Near-Infrared Light Work Together

The JuvaKit 300W delivers both 660nm red light and 850nm near-infrared light. These two wavelengths operate at different depths. Red light at 660nm works at the surface level — skin and upper tissue. Near-infrared at 850nm penetrates deeper into muscle and connective tissue.

Research on red and near-infrared light has studied their effects on cellular energy production — specifically their interaction with mitochondria and ATP synthesis. The combination of both wavelengths in a single panel delivers a broader range of cellular exposure than a single-wavelength device.

The panel can be switched to deliver 660nm only, 850nm only, or both simultaneously — giving you flexibility to run different session types depending on your protocol.

 


Why 5050SMD LEDs Matter

Not all LED panels are built the same. The JuvaKit uses 5050SMD LED chips — each chip measures 5.0mm × 5.0mm and contains three diodes in a single housing. This produces significantly more output per chip than the single-diode 3528 chips used in lower-cost panels.

More output per chip means more light energy delivered at the correct wavelengths. The 5050SMD chips are also rated for 100,000 hours of lifespan — double the 50,000-hour rating of 3528 chips.

 


How to Use

Position the panel 6 inches from the area you are targeting. Begin with 10-minute sessions once per day. After the first week, you can increase to twice daily if preferred. The built-in digital timer is set at 10 or 30 minutes — select based on your session preference.

Do not exceed three sessions per day. Consistent daily use over weeks is what produces the adaptation response documented in research — not longer individual sessions.
